Dear Members,

We would like to inform you about a matter that has come to our attention concerning our Constitution. During the Special General Meeting in 2019, changes were made in the Constitution to reflect our obligations to Drug Free Sport New Zealand (DFSNZ) and their name change. However, it has come to our attention that these changes were not legally registered by publication in the Public Register with the Companies Office at that time.

We want to assure you that this oversight has now been rectified. The correct version of the Constitution is available on our website for your review and has been registered in accordance with requirements with the Companies Office.

The Board has resolved to take the following steps:

  1. Highlight the Issue to Members: We want to ensure all members are aware of the oversight and the subsequent correction.
  2. Invite Feedback: If you have any material concerns regarding the Constitution, particularly the changes from 2019, please contact Stephen Peterson (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) to discuss and or register any concerns by the 31 July 2024.
  3. Address Concerns: We will consider all feedback at the next Board meeting. If any concerns cannot be addressed satisfactorily, we will convene a special AGM to pass the necessary changes.  If no feedback is received within the specified timeframe, we will close the matter at the August Board Meeting.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter. Our goal is to maintain transparency and ensure the Constitution accurately reflects our commitments and obligations.

Thank you for your attention to this update.
