Due to the ongoing issues and risks around international travel, Fencing New Zealand will not be sanctioning nor appointing a managed team to travel to Sydney to attend this tournament. This means that there will be no Fencing NZ nominated fencers, appointed coaches nor managers attending the event.
However, parents and fencers are free to organise their own participation in the tournament at their own risk. If there are sufficient numbers to enter a team at the event and attending fencers wish to fence in the team competition, Fencing NZ will enter teams based on the Selectors’ Commission’s approval. Fencers participating at the event may be requested to complete a waiver form. Please note that the Australian Fencing Federation will only accept entries from affiliated fencers.
