As advised in the recent President’s Corner, Fencing New Zealand has experienced remarkable growth in membership this year, thanks to your incredible support. Alongside this growth, we have also made substantial investments in training and youth development, which have been made possible through the generous funding provided by external organisations.
However, with our success also comes the need to address increased workload, increased costs and tax issues.
While we are a Not For Profit Incorporated Society, our increased turnover has led to the obligation to register for GST. This means that we now have to add GST on top of our income and pass it on to the IRD.
We therefore regret to inform you that from 1st January 2024 we have revised our fee structure for the first time since 2020.
We appreciate your understanding and support during this transition. Rest assured that these changes enable us to continue to provide even more opportunities and resources for our members in the long term.

National Affiliation Fees
Affiliation – Competitive $65.00 – (increase of $10.00)
Affiliation – Associate $20.00 – no change
Affiliation – Recreational $ 0.00 – no change
International Event Fees (FROM 1 FEBRUARY 2024)
Admin fee for Overseas Event Entry $30.00 – (increase of $5.00)
Nomination Fee for Int Events requiring selection: $160.00 (increase of $10.00)
