The FIE may require body wires with transparent plugs to be used at all FIE competitions starting 2020-2021 season (decision to be confirmed at Congress 2019).

The NZ Masters' Games will take place in Dunedin from 1 to 9 February. Fencing will take place 8-9 February.

Nominations are called for the team events at the Australian Open and Veteran and OFC Senior Championships to be held in Canberra from 22 to 26 November.

NZ Fencing Nationals are in Wellington on Labour Weekend - 26th to 28th October.
