Over the past few months, the FeNZ Board has reviewed, updated and introduced new policies, which can be found on the website. We are continuing to improve and update policies.
Health and Safety Policy and Incident Reporting Forms - overseen by our new Health & Safety Officer Neil Young. Appeals and Conduct Policy and Procedures (NEW) Code of Conduct and National Representation policy FeNZ Coaches Code of Conduct Squad Coach Policy Minimum Age Policy Protocols and equipment requirements Women fencing in Mens events Agreements for touring Coaches and Managers Guidelines for Appointment and Compensation of tour managers and coaches National representation and wearing of emblems policy
The latest policy is the new Appeals and Conduct Policy and Procedures, adopted at the October Board meeting.
Two levels of unacceptable conduct have been identified and the Disciplinary Committee established to consider referrals or complaints about members or to make enquiries of its own initiative in relation to conduct of an athlete, coach, official or supporter.
A new committee, the Appeals Panel has been formed to deal with challenges to Board decisions or appeals against selection or non-selection.
