Well done to Daniel Kahu one of two New Zealand foilsts competing at teh Junior World Championships in Moscow.
Dan had a good round in the pools, emerging ranked 58th in a field of 122, putting him above the cut. Dan then went on to meet the 71st ranked Egyptian fencer Ahmed in the first round of the direct elimination, going down 15/6 for a final placing of 71st.
Well done Dan.
New Zealand's other men's foilst Hamish Chan didn't fare so well, finishing below the cut coming out of the pools, with a final placing of 115th.
