Nominations are invited from those wishing to be considered to attend Challenge Australia in Sydney 22/23 May 2010.

Numbers are limited and will be subject to selection. A current FIE licence will be required to compete in this event.

Nominations should be made to secretary@fencing.org.nz no later than Friday 23 April 2010, and must be accompanied by a completed nomination form for 2010 ( if you have not already submitted one this year) and a fee of $100.00.

The FIE has suspended and forbidden the use of Lexan visor masks at FIE Competitions for Foil and Epee. In accordance with this, FeNZ directs that these masks should NOT now be used for training or competition until further notice.

The Italian Fencing Federation has announced a design competition open to affiliated members of National fencing organisations for the 2011 World champs in Catania (Sicily), Italy: Ideas Competition

You could win:
-travel expenses to/from Catania and stay during the “Catania 2011” Word Championships ;

- € 10.000,00. This amount can be exclusively used for sports/study purposes.
